The history of Mari Energies is deeply rooted in the discovery of Mari Gas Field – the mother field of our company and one of the largest indigenous natural gas reserves in Pakistan. Mari Gas Field was first discovered in 1954 under the Pakistan Stanvac Petroleum Project (PSPP), a landmark venture between the Government of Pakistan and Esso Eastern Incorporated, USA with 49% and 51% ownership interests respectively.
