    MariEnergies has established itself as a leading energy explorer with a broad and diversified upstream portfolio, underpinned by disciplined execution and strategic expansion across onshore and offshore hydrocarbon frontiers. The company holds one of the largest exploration and development portfolios in the region, comprising 72 exploration licenses and multiple development and production leases across key basins.

    A significant recent milestone in MariEnergies’ growth has been its success in the competitive offshore licensing round. The company secured provisional awards for 23 new offshore exploration blocks, including operatorship of 18 blocks, many with 100 percent working interest, across the Indus and Makran basins. This achievement positions MariEnergies as a leading operator in Pakistan’s emerging offshore sector, with substantial acreage dedicated to high-potential shallow, deep, and ultra-deep water plays. In addition, MariEnergies has established an international presence through the offshore Block-5 in Abu Dhabi, further diversifying its exploration footprint.

    On the onshore front, MariEnergies continues to advance frontier exploration and play development. The company has successfully opened the high-potential Ghazij play in the Mari field and achieved play extension discoveries in Sujawal and Waziristan blocks, reinforcing its capability to unlock new opportunities while expanding existing prospects efficiently. The portfolio now reflects a comprehensive footprint across conventional and frontier basins, both domestically and through select international interests, demonstrating a balanced approach between near-term value creation and long-term exploration upside.
