Mr. Kazmi is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of experience across diverse sectors and functional areas in both national and regional economies.

His areas of specialization include fiscal policy and macroeconomic research, greenfield and brownfield projects, strategic collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, advanced accounting and finance, strategic audit and assurance, tax reforms, and high-level advisory services.

Mr. Kazmi served KPMG for 35 years, engaging with leadership teams across nearly every industry.
His extensive exposure to diverse sectors and projects enabled him to deliver strategic value additions for clients, implement a comprehensive service delivery framework, and provide integrity-driven, best-in-class auditing and advisory services.

He also contributed to macroeconomic research, influencing fiscal and regulatory policies in Pakistan.
He has actively served on numerous private sector, public sector, and civil society boards, sharing his insights through articles on national economics, business, taxation, and policy matters published in leading dailies.

At MariEnergies, he serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee and member of the Audit Committee.
